Blick am Abend puts the most gas on social media in June

Summer slump? Not at all. Blick am Abend at least used June to make Facebook unsafe. This is shown by the Storyclash ranking for June 2019.

An increase in interaction of no less than 142 percent compared to the Previous month makes Evening view was the big winner of the June edition of the Storyclash ranking. Every month, this measures how Swiss media brands have performed on social media and is published exclusively on Werbewoche.ch in Switzerland. According to the ranking, the former View-commuter brand, which have only been available in digital form since 2018The newspaper achieved 1.5 million interactions on Facebook - over a million more than in the previous month. The Tamedia free newspaper 20 minutes is normally the undisputed Facebook king of the Swiss media landscape and had to admit defeat for the first time in June. The Ringier title made up no less than four places in June, finishing just behind Radio Energy on the podium. The exploit is no coincidence: four of the ten most successful posts of the month came from Evening view

The NZZ also had a good month. The traditional newspaper shared two of the ten most successful media articles (3rd and 6th place) - both of which dealt indirectly with climate change. The top posting (in all categories) - also from the NZZ or CH Media) - came from the Tagblatt.ch portal. Topic: 59 fawns were saved from death by mowing machines using drones. A topic that apparently moved and interested readers in Eastern Switzerland - the article generated almost 150,000 interactions in June. Incidentally, the same topic also made it into 20 minutes in the list of the most successful articles (4th place).
