Valora launches "Avec Now" delivery service in Basel
Delivery services are closely linked to the food convenience trend. This is why, in addition to its Autonomous Store initiative, Valora is also pushing e-commerce and delivery purchasing solutions. In addition to Zurich, the Avec Now delivery service will now also be operating in Basel from Wednesday.
While Avec Now in Zurich delivers from the Avec store on Hardplatz, Valora in Basel is testing its own warehouse facilities as a starting point for orders. The company expects this to result in greater efficiency in terms of warehouse logistics. It will also allow staff to concentrate fully on processing orders.
With Avec Now, households and offices in the city of Basel and municipality of Binnigen are to receive e-bikes in basically just 15 minutes. There is no minimum order quantity, and delivery costs amount to just under three francs per purchase. At the start, the first 200 orders will be rewarded with a mystery bag.
For orders in Zurich and Basel, it is now also possible to use the Avec Now app, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
The convenience range of Avec Now includes around 1,700 products and is designed for smaller purchases in between.
