Online market Ricardo of TX Group achieves new record figures in 2020
Ricardo, the online market belonging to the TX Group, achieved new record figures in the 2020 financial year thanks to Corona. The Swiss population stayed at home more and accordingly shopped online more often. The majority of the items traded via Ricardo were second-hand goods.
With around 6.5 million items sold, Ricardo turned over nearly 30 percent more than the previous year, TX Group announced Monday. About two-thirds of the items sold were already used.
The number of newly registered members also increased by almost 30 percent year-on-year. The number of members thus exceeded the 4 million mark for the first time. (SDA)
