Instead of queuing, the QR code can be scanned on site via the "Ticketcorner Skip App" and the desired tickets selected. After a one-time registration, the visitor can pay and enter quickly, contactless and uncomplicated. It is also possible to buy tickets in advance, as the location, date and tickets can already be selected from home. The tickets are transmitted to the smartphone as a QR code. The "Ticketcorner Skip App" is available free of charge as an iOS and Android version in the App Store.
Ticketcorner CEO Andreas Angehrn says: "With Ticketcorner Skip, we offer a mobile ticket office and admission solution that takes the pressure off the ticket office staff and allows visitors to buy their tickets very simply via smartphone. With just a few clicks, the desired admission is sent to the smartphone as a QR code."
Premiere at Knie's children's zoo
Knies Kinderzoo in Rapperswil is one of the first partners to offer its guests "Ticketcorner Skip" as a new service. Franco Knie jun., overall manager of Knies Kinderzoo, is delighted: "The reception at the ticket office is the first and therefore most important impression of our modern animal and leisure facility. Thanks to 'Ticketcorner Skip', we can now offer our visitors a new, innovative service here too. 'Ticketcorner Skip' allows dozens of visitors to buy their tickets at the same time, without waiting, and enter the children's zoo more quickly." In addition to Knies Kinderzoo, other providers Swiss Classic World or the Psychiatry Museum in Bern have decided to process their admission tickets via "Ticketcorner Skip".
Even in leisure facilities with a manageable number of visitors, staff can be relieved, as it is often not worthwhile to staff the ticket office continuously outside of peak times. Here, "Ticketcorner Skip" helps both the operator and the visitor, who can buy tickets himself in future. In addition, "Ticketcorner Skip" partners benefit from marketing opportunities: The leisure offer will be advertised via the Ticketcorner marketing channels as well as their partners. This means that existing and new customers can be addressed personally and motivated to visit with individual offers.
Pay with Twint and credit card
In addition to the credit card payment option, Twint is now also available as a payment method. Over the course of the year, "Ticketcorner Skip" will also be integrated directly into the Twint payment app, which is installed on more than 3 million Swiss people. Using the camera function, the QR code can be scanned at any "Ticketcorner Skip" ticket office. After selecting the admission tickets, the payment process is quick and easy via Twint.
