Bring!'s growth trajectory looks set to continue in the current 2021. In the first quarter alone, revenue was around 240 percent higher than in the first three months of 2020, according to a statement. The total number of app downloads broke the 10 million mark for the first time last year and is currently over 12 million - adding over half a million in the first quarter of 2021 alone. Meanwhile, Bring! has become a regular companion for many people when shopping for groceries and household items: Users made more than 125 million purchases with the app in 2020 alone.
Bring! offers branded goods and retail companies a specialized mobile advertising platform. By means of different advertising formats - from sponsored products on the shopping list to local retailer offers and recipe recommendations in the inspiration section - which are directly integrated into the user experience of the app, advertisers can help their target groups plan and carry out their shopping. This, apparently, with success. According to the release, Bring! has been able to implement numerous campaigns in 2020 with manufacturers such as Procter & Gamble, Nestlé, Dr. Oetker, Danone, Barilla and Coca-Cola, as well as retail chains such as Edeka, Lidl and Migros.
Management team strengthened
As sales grow, so does the company. According to the announcement, Bring! plans to double its headcount by the end of the year compared to the end of 2019. The first new additions have already been made. Nadine Müller is now responsible for all sales activities in Switzerland as Head of Sales Switzerland. The 37-year-old comes from Mediaschneider, where she was most recently Managing Director. With over 15 years of agency, media and marketing experience, she will be responsible for building and expanding customer and agency relationships in Switzerland and further developing the advertising products at Bring!
Davide Falzone has already been with the company for some time: as Country Manager, he built up the Bring! business in Germany. As of now, the 32-year-old is also responsible as Commercial Director for global sales targets, the advertising business and the development and implementation of the company's business strategies.
New Bring! version still in spring
Bring! plans to continue its growth in 2021. To this end, the app and the advertising platform will also be further developed. An expanded Bring! version is scheduled for release in the spring and will offer additional functions, more personalization and additional advertising formats, among other things.
