Rent a PR enables press conferences in the metaverse

The agency Rent a PR, based in Zurich and Verbier, wants to set a milestone with cooperation and press conferences in the Metaverse.

The new offering covers all the processes that companies use to get in touch with their various stakeholders. Whether press conferences, general meetings or product launches: What used to take place on-site is now also possible in the Metaverse. Technology partner Zreality is a German company specializing in events, communication and collaboration in virtual space. "The metaverse is not just a trend, but has already been used productively by companies for some time in the form of virtual and augmented reality solutions for many application areas such as sales or training. Press conferences are now another exciting opportunity for companies to engage with the market," says Michael Neidhöfer , CEO & Co-Founder of Zreality.

According to the company, press conferences held in the Metaverse have numerous advantages - both for the companies and the participants. "The fact that many companies find it difficult to get journalists interested in attending their press conferences is also due to the large amount of time involved," says Kaps. At a press conference in the Metaverse, there is no need to travel to and from the event, and interested parties can log in wherever they are and participate in the event via avatar, even without virtual reality glasses. There is also the option of recording the event so that it can be attended afterwards.
