Sales and customer numbers up: Sunrise UPC continues to grow

Sunrise UPC continues to grow. The telecommunications company reports a net increase of an additional 49,400 mobile postpaid subscriptions and a further 9,300 broadband and TV subscribers in Q4 2021.

Sunrise UPCFor the full fiscal year 2021, Sunrise UPC reports a total net increase of +181,800 mobile postpaid and +34,700 broadband/TV RGUs, with a total of 5.5 million subscriptions as of the end of Q4 2021.

Fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) grows by +3.1% in 2021. As of the end of 2021, 3% of fixed-network broadband customers were also using a mobile postpaid offer.

Sales2) amounted to CHF 760.0 million in Q4 2021, growing by +1.0% year-on-year on an adjusted basis. Over the full fiscal year, Sunrise UPC realized revenues of CHF 3,035.7 million (+0.5% year-on-year on an adjusted basis).

Segment-adjusted EBITDA including "costs to capture "3) (-1.8%) and adjusted EBITDA less additions to property, plant and equipment2)4) (-2.7%) decrease slightly year-on-year.

B2B continues to grow strongly with revenue up +9.9% in Q4 2021 and +3.7% over the full year.

André Krause, CEO of Sunrise UPC, is satisfied with the first consolidated financial year: "Despite the pandemic, integration and intense competition, we succeeded in expanding our operational and financial success in 2021. We were able to play to our strengths as a merged company in the residential and business customer market as well as in the secondary brand business.
