Digital Ad Trust: First certificates issued

The Digital Ad Trust association has carried out the first certifications. More are to follow in a second wave in the fall. According to the association, interest in the certificates is high.

The Digital Ad Trust, founded by the three associations IAB Switzerland Association (IAB), the Swiss Advertisers Association (SWA) and the agency association Leading Swiss Agencies (LSA), has reached its next milestone.
The first participants were awarded the Digital Ad Trust certificate, a guarantee of high-quality inventory. 20 Minuten Advertising, Goldbach Audience, Ringier Advertising, Watson and Teads are the publishers and marketers certified in the first wave. In order to receive the "full" certificate, applicants had to demonstrate that they meet the required conditions in the areas of viewability, ad fraud, brand safety and user experience.

Some applicants have received the certificate with a reservation or with a waiting period. These are to be checked again after three months. The final certificates issued are then valid for one year, but will be checked again after six months as part of an interim audit.
