Andy Was Right makes Beyer podcasts a cross-media experience

At the end of 2020, Sir Mary brought watchmaker Beyer into the digital age. In addition to the website and subjects, four podcast episodes were also part of the digital touchpoints. Andy Was Right continues the podcast series in 2021.

Andy Was Right already produced the four pilot episodes under the project lead of Sir Mary (Werbewoche.ch reported). This year, the Content Newsroom on Hardstrasse now takes over the complete handling of the podcast series. Several new episodes are planned. The talks are well received - both by the audience and by Beyer.

"We may be a traditional house, but we are always open to new technologies. For example, Beyer was present on Instagram early on. The Beyer Talks are now another step towards informing and fascinating our clientele through digital channels as well," explains Philippe Meyer, Head of Marketing at Beyer.

More than just a sound file

In addition to Spotify and Apple Podcast, Beyer Talks can also be found as video snippets on social media. "We always think content across platforms," says Leo Wehrli, Newsroom Lead at Andy Was Right. "You don't want to consume a talk in audio format alone these days. Videos and blog posts are just as much a part of it. We call it podcast+."

Jean-Claude Biver, Dieter Meyer, Aurel Bacs - when René Beyer invites you to a conversation, exciting guests are guaranteed. But who all will talk about his or her fascination with time and its knives is still a secret.
