Ex Libris range now also available at Digitec Galaxus
Ex Libris now also offers around 600,000 of the best-selling items from its physical range in the Galaxus online department store. For company director Daniel Röthlin, this is the logical development of the omni-channel strategy launched in 2010.
Customers can also find books, music and films from the Ex Libris range in the Galaxus marketplace. This means that a total of over 1.5 million items are available on Galaxus.ch. Ex Libris handles purchasing, assortment, and all logistics. Digitec Galaxus provides the store window and secures the ordering process.
The addition of part of the Ex-Libris range is part of the Digitec Galaxus dealer program, which was launched in October 2016. "We are pleased to expand our online presence as a dealer in the Galaxus marketplace. Our offering has already been available beyond our own platforms since the launch of Migros' PickMup pickup service," said Daniel Röthlin, corporate director of Ex Libris. "At Digitec Galaxus, we meet many and potentially new customers," Röthlin says.
Ex Libris is the third Migros subsidiary to join the Galaxus retailer program, after Globus and M-Way. "Our goal is to achieve the best possible combination of a wide range of products, maximum availability, fast delivery times and attractive prices," said Florian Teuteberg, CEO of Digitec Galaxus, in a statement.
