More and more ski-hungry people are ordering their day and week passes in advance, conveniently and at the best price on the Internet. "The new generation of skiers informs themselves in detail about current prices, ski resorts, open facilities and weather and picks out their tailor-made offer," says Thomas Morand, Director Ski at Ticketcorner, in a statement. Four clicks later, the ski ticket is purchased and there's no more queuing at the cable car ticket office. Over 110,000 winter sports enthusiasts have already registered with Ticketcorner for this service. The ticketing provider writes that according to a customer survey, satisfaction is "still very high". According to the survey, 96 percent of all users recommend the online advance sales service to others. The proportion of mobile ticket buyers is also high: "Around half of customers buy their ski tickets via smartphone, and the trend is rising," confirms Thomas Morand.
New website and own app
Switzerland's most comprehensive ski ticketing platform presents itself in a new look and with additional information. With filter functions with criteria such as snow depth, weather or open facilities, the website provides a compact overview of the ski regions on offer. For the first time, Ticketcorner also offers its own ski app for mobile shopping on the go. Here, too, ski tickets to over 70 ski resorts can be booked with just four clicks. The app is available for iOS and Android and can be downloaded free of charge from the app stores.
