More and more skiers are ordering their day and week passes conveniently and at the best price online in advance. "The new generation of skiers is gathering precise information about current prices, ski resorts, open lifts and the weather and picking out their tailor-made offer," says Thomas Morand, Director Ski at Ticketcorner, in a press release. Four clicks later, the ski ticket is purchased and there is no need to queue at the cable car ticket office. Over 110,000 winter sports enthusiasts have already registered with Ticketcorner for this service. The ticketing provider writes that, according to a customer survey, satisfaction is "very high". According to the survey, 96 percent of all users recommend online advance ticket sales to others. The proportion of mobile ticket buyers is also high: "Around half of customers buy their ski tickets via smartphone, and the trend is rising," confirms Thomas Morand.

New website and own app

Switzerland's most comprehensive ski ticketing platform has a new look and additional information. With filter functions using criteria such as snow depth, weather or open lifts, the website provides a compact overview of the ski regions on offer. For the first time, Ticketcorner is also offering its own ski app for mobile purchases on the go. Here too, ski tickets for over 70 ski resorts can be booked with just four clicks. The app is available for iOS and Android and can be downloaded free of charge from the app stores.
