The website of the traditional Biel club presents itself in a new look with modern design and innovative technology. In close cooperation with EHC Biel, Kargo Kommunikation created the crisp design according to the "mobile-first" principle and the digital agency Campfire ensured a successful implementation. User-friendliness, speed and performance were given high priority, as traffic on the website is correspondingly high. In addition, all match data is continuously transmitted via an interface from the Swiss Hockey Federation so that fans are always up to date.

Clear design, easy handling

Visually, the facelift shows a clear and generous line and of course the club colors are celebrated so that it really pops. At the same time, however, attention was paid to a clear structure and good readability. Umbraco serves as content management system. This open source CMS allows easy handling and offers versatile functionalities at the same time.

"We want to keep EHCB fans up to date and provide them with the most important news on an ongoing basis. With Umbraco, we can easily and quickly create news entries. Text and images are automatically integrated into the coherent overall concept. This looks professional and yet requires little effort. In addition to the successful design, the user-friendliness is a great benefit for us", says Amanda Winter from EHC Biel.

Fast and reliable information

"Stability, speed and functionality were three central aspects for us when implementing the website. Visitors should be able to get to their information reliably and quickly, so that it is a pleasure to visit the website. We are pleased to have achieved this goal," explains Patric Martin, developer and technical consultant at Campfire.
