Adello wants to conquer China and enters into partnership with NetBooster

After three years of working the Asian market with locally present teams, Adello is making a move into China. To this end, the Swiss mobile technology company is entering into a partnership with the Chinese digital agency NetBooster, which has acquired the right to exclusively use Adello's AdCTRL technology in mainland China.

By using Adello technology, NetBooster is opening up new possibilities, according to a statement: "We evaluated various technology providers and tested them against each other in real campaigns. In the process, Adello was able to take campaign optimization to a new level thanks to machine learning in real time. The predictive algorithms of AdCTRL technology gave us 50 percent better results than the other major vendors in China. The integration of AdCTRL Defender with viewability tracking and fraud prevention plays an important role. Especially for our top international customers, it is important to offer a level of security that goes beyond whitelisting and ex-post analysis."

The internationally active NetBooster Group is firmly established in the Chinese market with around 80 employees. It serves renowned brands such as Pernod Ricard and METRO GROUP. NetBooster founder Pascal Duriez has been active throughout Asia for years. Among other things, he was responsible for Ogilvy Action (WPP) in the Philippines as Managing Director. In 2009, he founded "NetBooster Asia" in China.

Adello had already taken steps to gain a foothold in China three years ago. In 2015, the technology company with Swiss roots was also named "Venture Leader China Winner". Adello CEO Mark Forster took various business trips to China for market analyses and to build important relationships. "We originally wanted to launch in China as early as 2016. However, the analysis showed that the market entry there would be relatively complex due to the local framework conditions. We therefore ran through several scenarios and came to the conclusion that we could position ourselves optimally through close cooperation with local partners. Through the cooperation with NetBooster, the goal of offering the AdCTRL technology in China has now been achieved."
