For the health insurer, the myCSS app is of strategic importance: It offers an additional channel to interact with customers and provide central services more efficiently. In order to achieve the best possible result in terms of stability, performance and quality, CSS therefore conducted a multi-stage evaluation in the fall of 2015. Inside Solutions and Notch Interactive emerged as the clear winners.

"For our ambitious undertaking, we needed nothing less than the best skills in the market. After an intensive evaluation of initially 10 providers, followed by a demanding proof-of-concept of the four remaining candidates under time pressure, the choice then clearly fell on INSIDE+NOTCH as a power duo in terms of creativity and delivery," says Marcel Engelberger, Head of E-Business at CSS. Both companies have already realized several projects for CSS. Notch Interactive is responsible for conception and UX design, Inside Solutions for the technical implementation.

The myCSS app has been available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store since August 22.It offers customers an up-to-date overview of premiums, deductibles, and co-payments anytime and anywhere. A Touch ID makes logging in easy, and thanks to the chat module (live from the end of August), customers can get free, real-time advice from specialists via Messenger. In addition, the app makes it easy to scan medical bills and claim receipts and send them to CSS.
