Shortlist: The photos of "5 years Rockstar

Five years of Rockstar and three parties: The youth and music magazine celebrated its fifth anniversary at the weekend. The VIP bash kicked things off. The weekend was ushered in with plenty of champagne and sumptuous sandwiches - and the latest issue of the magazine was inaugurated. With enough to drink, they were ready for the party that followed. The official super party took place yesterday, Saturday. Of course, the shortlist was a guest at the VIP bash - but they skipped the party afterwards (which, by the way, was not due to the alcohol, but to the hard working week).
Sinful
The rocking was done in the once so disreputable St. Pauli bar, which is located in Zurich's red light district. The bar fit like a glove, or in this case: like a skull tattoo on a rock star. It wasn't long ago that the bar on Langstrasse was still a cabaret where scantily clad girls loll about on the bar. But since the owners have changed, at least the concept is different. The interior, with its red velvet curtains and sparse lighting, is still reminiscent of the days when DJs were called disc jockeys and when you could have fun with bare-breasted ladies. Today, the St. Pauli bar has been transformed into a decent dance temple, where at most the guests still swing their hips lightly dressed.
Bash or lax?
Back to the VIP bash: It was a bit lax for a "big party", as the term is translated from English. Considering that it was host Rockstar. But perhaps one does the magazine wrong, since the second part of the evening was not experienced. Nevertheless, the course of the party must have pleased publishing director Joel Meier and editor-in-chief Michael Rechsteiner quite a bit. After all, the guests didn't ask twice and danced in large numbers.
Awaken the rock star in you
At this point, once again, a giveaway should be acknowledged. The one from Rockstar. In the white, inconspicuous paper bag hid all kinds of items that rock stars always have with them: A proud bottle of tequila, including a comprehensive brochure, unfortunately only a flyer of the latest Harley Davidson, a Harley Davidson keychain, an issue of Rockstar hot off the press, of course, and last but not least a biscuit and a chili salad dressing.
