ComCom also approves Sunrise takeover

The Federal Communications Commission ComCom has approved the economic transfer of Sunrise's mobile radio licences as part of the takeover by Liberty Global. The licensing requirements continue to be met, the supervisory authority wrote in a statement on Wednesday.


Competition in the mobile telephony market will also not be affected by this acquisition. Sunrise continues to have the necessary technical capabilities to provide its customers with high-quality mobile services.
