First Swiss app for neighborhood assistance launched

The agency Newcom Solution has developed the app "Happyday" at its own expense. At-risk groups in particular can use it to find support quickly and easily. Volunteers can offer their help for shopping, pet care or household chores, for example. More about the free app at Happyday.life.

By the way, Migros is also promoting neighborly help: The retailer is bringing back the actually buried social shopping app Amigos for a limited time. (Werbewoche.ch reported). At-risk groups are thus supported - and the existing, no longer used infrastructure is used once again for a good cause.

UPC unlocks children's channels

Whether it's pedagogically valuable to use the TV as a babysitter is another question. These days, however, many parents are probably glad to have the relief of the flickering box from time to time. It's the change that does it. UPC is lending its support and will be switching on all children's channels free of charge from March 25. So that children can at least watch something age-appropriate, if they do watch it.

SRF broadcasts 24-hour live show from empty Hallenstadion

As is known, all shows and concerts for the coming months had to be canceled. As a support for the music and entertainment industry, the artists Loco Escrito and Seven, supported by SRF presenter Nik Hartmann, have conceived the live show "Alles wird gut": Musicians perform in their band rooms or living rooms. All these performances are combined into the 24-hour event "Alles wird gut". Various presenters, for SRF Judith Wernli and Nik Hartmann, lead live through the show from the empty Hallenstadion. SRF will broadcast the event in full next Saturday on SRF zwei and stream it on Srf.ch, as well as partially on Radio SRF 3. "Alles wird gut" - now that's a message at the right time.
