Sandra Caviezel (*1970) is Head Sponsorship & Events at Swiss Universal Bank (Credit Suisse AG). She is a regular speaker, for example at the Sportforum Schweiz in Lucerne and at the International Sports Convention ISC Geneva 2014. As a sponsor of the Swiss national soccer team, Credit Suisse enjoyed a major communications success at the 2014 World Cup with its "We are all the team" campaign.Sandra Caviezel learned banking and also integrated communications from scratch: After her apprenticeship at the Schweizerische Kreditanstalt Zürich, she first took the exam at the SAWI to become a federally certified communications manager, and later continued her education in communications and management at the University of St. Gallen. As Senior Project Manager, she then took on various activities in the field of marketing services for Credit Suisse London, including the successful launch of the Youtrade trading platform. With the exception of a two-year excursion into the advertising world of Advico Young & Rubicam, where she gained management experience as Group Account Director, Caviezel remained loyal to Credit Suisse. In 2001, she took over as head of the bank's Formula 1 office, and three years later moved into the more masculine territory of sports sponsorship. As Head of Sports Sponsorship, she manages not only football sponsorship but also such prestigious sporting events as the European Golf Masters in Crans Montana and the White Turf horse race in St. Moritz.Despite her multifunctional job, the CS sponsorship manager still finds time to pass on her experience: at the lectern, as a jury member, or as a lecturer in Sponsorship Policy in the CAS Event Management course at HTW Chur. If she has any energy left over, she uses it to run marathons.
